Add an email account

- Open Mail.
- From the Mail menu, select Add Account. Result: The Add Account screen will show.
- In the Full Name, enter your name, or a display name you would prefer.
- In the Email Address field enter your email address (i.e. [email protected])
- In the Password field, enter your full password.
- Click Continue. Result: The Incoming Mail Server screen will show.
- In the Description field, enter BendBroadband. (i.e. Can be different, is only used to identify the email in Mail)
- In the Incoming mail server field, enter the server name as follows: If your email address ends with:
- For the User Name field enter your full email address.
- In the Password field, enter your full password.
- Click Continue. Result: The Outgoing Mail Server screen will show.
- In the Outgoing mail server field, enter the server name as follows: If your email address ends with:
- Check the Use Authentication box, then enter the User Name and Password.
- Click Continue. Result: The Account Summary screen will show.
- Review the Account Summary section.
- Click Create. All steps complete.
